Meet your indigenous storyteller at the main square of Sesquilé.
Walk with your indigenous storyteller from the main square to the entrance of the Muisca Indigenous Council of Sesquilé. This is where your tour will begin.
Approximately an hour and a half later, you will arrive at the Cusmuy (Muisca ceremonial house). The journey is short but includes several stops to explain the indigenous connection to this territory, its restoration, its sacred places, and much more.
You will be back at the entrance of the territory where you will walk back to the main square. Use these minutes of walking to reflect on everything you have learned.
The easiest way to get to Sesquilé from Bogotá is to go to the North Transport Terminal and take the bus to Sesquilé.
This experience does not include the traditional medicine of the Muisca indigenous community, the Hosqa IE. However, you can see the Temazcal experience which does include it. The cleansing ceremony with tobacco and cotton does not involve consuming it.
The indigenous community loves receiving visits from the whole family. Keep in mind that it is a mountain and the walk is uphill. It is recommended that if you come with children, they should be older than 7 years.
Of course, your pet will be very happy to receive the beautiful energy of the place.
